possible when malnutrition or cachexia thin out the overlying tissues
or when there is massive hepatomegaly. No studies, to our knowledge,
describe the yield from inspection of the liver outline in the abdomen,
but clear-cut abnormalities should at least be specific, thereby
ruling in hepatomegaly and underlying disease. ..."
